Hello there, welcome to our Brick Blog. I am Dave and I love Lego!

Looking back, this passion started when I was a kid, which was quite a while ago! Frankly I don’t quite remember if I had asked for a specific Lego set that I saw at the department store or if my mom had picked it out for me. My thinking is leaning towards the former as Lego sets were very expensive back then as it was an imported toy from Denmark. Even nowadays, Lego is still a relative expensive toy!

But my love of Lego has never changed, and instead it literally becomes part of my daily life. Building Lego always bring joy, calmness and relaxation to me, even after a long day at work. I guess, it is kinda like reading, drawing or painting for others!

What is my favorite Lego theme? Well, since I also like cars and building car models, it is only natural that I like the City/Town theme the most. Love those Lego City cars, trucks, even boats and trains!

Among the first sets of Lego that I had were a rally car (set # 673), a fire truck (set # 672) and an oil tanker (set # 671).

My Lego collection has grown tremendously ever since, but the passion has remained the same throughout the years.

Hi, I’m Julie and LEGO is my passion. For as long as I can remember, they have been a part of my life, putting a smile on my face every time I build something new. And now, with 2 boys of my own, I get to share that passion with them. I love seeing their faces light up when they get a new set (mine do too!) and watching them figure out all the different ways they go together.

Lego’s, to me, are the greatest toy ever. They spark creativity and there is always something new to see and do. They are a toy the whole family can enjoy, and be passed down from generation to generation.
