Lego 21316 – The Flintstones
The Flintstones is a classic (or should I say “old”) cartoon sitcom between 1960 and 1966. It is a collective memory to many older folks. Looking back, in many ways, the Flintstones was the Simpsons of the 60’s!
This set captured the most recognized elements of the show, namely the four main characters – Fred Flintstones, his wife Wilma, his buddy Barney Rubble and Barney’s wife, Betty;
Fred’s iconic “foot-powered” car is faithfully recreated in Lego form with a soft fabric canvas roof and can seat all 4 minifigs!!!!
Fred’s stone-age rock house has a removable roof, tiger-striped printed curtain pieces, classic tube TV, stone aged rotary telephone and bowling pins
Even the Lego Ideas logo on the lower right corner of the box is creatively shaped as a stone tablet, aww…
